I’ve used this projector for 3 days now and it’s fantastic. This is the second projector I’ve owned. The fan is nice and quiet even after the unit has been on for hours. It isn’t very heavy so it was fairly easy to mount close to my ceiling with only a 5 inch down tube. The image is bright has heck (see picture and excuse the mess – note that there are two table lamps on at the time and it’s still crazy bright). Some people have mentioned light leak and there definitely is some but it doesn’t bother me. Games and movies look amazing and buttery smooth on it. The bulb is super bright so black levels aren’t as dark as they could be but that’s a trade off that projector owners should understand. There’s also a way to lower the bulb brightness and save on bulb life but I haven’t tried that yet to see what difference it makes. My only complaint (so far) is that the remote is kind of cheap looking. It’s white and has a weird shape and is very light so it just feels a little cheap. I do like how it has separate power on and power off buttons. Since those are the only two I’ll ever be pressing I don’t really care about the remote too much. So 5 stars overall!

Extremely happy with this purchase. Was overwhelmed with researching projectors, and learning everything I needed to know about them. Luckily this ended up being perfect for what I needed at a good price.
So I currently use this projector in my bedroom as my primary screen for Gaming/watching TV. I have it hooked up to my PC via a 25ft HDMI cable, and it acts as a second monitor. The projector is about 11ft from the wall I cast on, and I get a solid 120inches.
I agree with other users that the Optima OS/remote sucks, but since I use it was a second desktop screen, I never have to use the OS or remote. I turn on my projector and use a wireless mouse/keyboard from bed to control Windows. Same thing if you have PS4/XBOX, you’ll end up using that + a controller instead of the Optima OS/remote.
