They are a great option if you like to have a mesh system that also comes with an Ethernet backhaul, and on a pinch also work wireless. The network stability is great. I made a speed test with my laptop to a local PC and got a little over 1300mbps with Wifi, so plenty fast for those who plan to use it wirelessly.
My previous experience was with a Google Nest WiFi and compared to the Deco app, that was downright locked down, however, Deco app is still limited if you want to tinker with it heavily, I recommend looking for another router for that, but a moot point since this router is not trying to appeal to super advanced users.
Plenty of features on the Deco app like a VPN that you can link your VPN provider and select it on what devices you want, a separate IoT network for all your devices, an easy way to open your IPv6 devices to the Internet and other features that probably will take a will to list them all fully.
Overall, if you’re coming from a Google Nest WiFi or other routers that don’t support Ethernet backhaul, this is a great upgrade

¡Totalmente recomendado!

Provides a good WiFi signal and downloading/uploading speed all around ~3600 sq. ft. house (3 levels) and nearby the house ~50-70 ft away.
Android control app has glitches from time to time. But manageable ones.

Bought this mesh network to replace my standard Netgear wifi router. I have to say, I was super impressed with how easy it was to setup, and very happy with the performance. I have wifi devices in both the front and back patios at my house, and have been suffering with poor coverage for years. My new security camera and lights on the front of my house were the catalyst to invest in a mesh network. Placed the three units as suggested around the house, including one upstairs. The resulting coverage to both extreme ends of my house has been much better than previously, while still getting over 200Mbps download throughput from the Internet. Hardwire Ethernet connection to my home PC is also getting excellent performance at almost 500Mbps (see attached screenshot).
Upgrade from my previous router was really easy, I just used the same SSID and password as my old router. I had no issues with 40+ wifi devices connecting to the new network, most of them without having to touch them. I had to reconnect a couple devices, but overall, much smoother than I was expecting. I had to use their app to change the default internal IP address (which all of my devices used as their gateway), and DNS settings. Other than that, pretty much used the default settings.
I would definitely recommend this mesh network, especially to less than tech savvy users, based on the easy setup. Warning, they don’t provide much documentation, but hopefully, not much is needed. You can always look at the videos on youtube if you need a little more help.

I have had this system for 2 years now, and never, had a problem. Yesterday, my internet provider upgraded my account, and I lost all internet connectivity. They, Spectrum, kept telling me it was a router problem and since it was a third-party device they could not help me. I called TP-Link for technical support and reached a rep known as Markanthony. To say he was patient and understanding of the situation is an understatement. I am fairly knowledgeable with electronics and internet issues but this one threw me. It turns out that when my internet service changed, the Deco main router, reverted to a “factory reset” mode. Hence….no internet. Markanthony walked me through the entire process, and it is working, again, like a charm. Although I purchased the “3-pack” for mesh coverage, I get awesome coverage with just the main router in my 2 story home of about 1700 sq. ft. My next door neighbor works from home, and one day, his internet went out. I let him jump onto mine so he could work, and he was amazed that he was getting about 400 mps from about 130 away. Great product and customer service. Thanks again Markanthony!

Our condo building recently changed to “internet included” monthly fees. I’ve been really impressed with the DECO WiFi router/mesh system! Setup was incredibly easy—just a few steps through the app, and everything was up and running smoothly. The coverage is fantastic, eliminating dead zones and providing strong, reliable connectivity throughout my home.
Speeds are consistently great, even with multiple devices connected. Streaming, gaming, and video calls all run without lag or drops. The app is user-friendly, making it simple to manage devices, set parental controls, and monitor network performance.
Overall, this system delivers great performance and hassle-free connectivity. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their home WiFi!

Overall very happy with the system. Speeds are very good and a significant upgrade over my previous system which was several years old. That being said, I wish there was a better web managment interface in addition to the phone app. The phone app is fine and easy for the non-technical people, however, for someone who has worked in IT for 30 years, I would like to be able to manage advanced features via a web interface. It’s also lacking a hardware based firewall. Good value for the cost and it works well.

I ordered it this morning and it came in the afternoon same day. After my Asus blue cave finally stopped working after 12 years I was looking for another mesh system. The TP link is a great product and easy to connect. The app is user friendly. This item came in a pack of 3. I have them all around the house. Signal is good. No dead spots. The signal follows you all around the house. I currently have 22 items running and no buffering. I ordered the brackets to install in the wall. Definitely worth the price. Very happy.
