I recently had purchased the BE800 to begin upgrading my home Wi-Fi. Coming from an old Nighthawk from 8 years ago, this was a big step. I had some reboot issues and problems starting connected for some devices, but overall was pleased with the increased range and speed.
Then they finally released the GE800 in the US and I pulled the trigger right away to take advantage of the $100 discount that is ongoing until July 16th. Although I missed my LCD animations on the BE800, it was worth it for the increased number of devices, the perceived better range and so far much better reliability. The game enhancement features appear to be improving my gaming and I haven’t had a single issue other than a DEAD power supply that came with it. I filed an RMA and used another supply with the same model number that I had. (UPDATE EDIT: I spoke with customer service, told them the issue with the power supply, and in less than a week received my replacement power supply. Very fast, very efficient, very consumer friendly!) The BE800 has become my satellite router for my EasyMesh network. Now I have seamless Wi-Fi throughout the home and I haven’t had any need for rebooting or any other issues.

This router has been a game-changer for my home network, significantly improving my overall capabilities and services, especially in the realm of gaming and video editing.
The Archer AX10000 truly lives up to its reputation as a speed machine. These speeds have provided a seamless gaming experience and have made 4K video editing a breeze.
It excels at detecting and optimizing gaming streams, ensuring that my gaming sessions remain immersive and free from disruptions.
This router makes it easy to connect a wide array of devices, accommodating the needs of my most demanding household, which include seven people using numerous devices. Network performance always runs at its peak. My gaming and video editing tasks are handled with utmost efficiency.
A number of my children perform a myriad of things on their devices and it is evident that the router delivers data to multiple devices simultaneously. This has significantly reduced lag, ensuring a smooth online experience for all connected devices.
I’ve found the compatibility with OneMesh supported range extenders, such as the TP-Link AX3000 WiFi 6 Range Extender, to be a practical solution for extending Wi-Fi coverage in my four-level home. Connecting the extender was a simple process, and it effortlessly covers the hard-to-reach areas.
Works with All Internet Service Providers: The Archer AX10000’s compatibility with a wide range of internet service providers is truly appreciated. I had no issues setting it up with my existing provider (Xfinity), and it has vastly improved my network capabilities and services.
To highlight the sheer impact of this router, I’d like to mention that I upgraded from seven Google Wifi units to the TP-Link Archer AX10000, and the improvement has been nothing short of remarkable. My gaming and video editing performance have seen substantial enhancements.
While the user interface has its challenges, it’s far from insurmountable, and the benefits of this router more than make up for it.
In conclusion, the TP-Link Archer AX10000 is a top-tier router that has revolutionized my home network. Its phenomenal speed, gaming optimization, and connectivity options have dramatically improved my overall network capabilities and services. This router has been easy to assemble and has truly taken my gaming and video editing performance to new heights.

This router is huge and let me tell you this thing is the real deal. The range in this is outstanding and the speed is off the charts. It has all multigig ports so the possibilities are endless for what you can wire into this router. The RGB lights are bright but very cool looking. This looks like something from a star wars movie. Make sure you have enough room for it like I said it’s quite large. It does have a fan in it to keep it cool but it’s not very loud which is great. WiFi is extremely stable and just works exactly like it should. So if you’re looking for a multigig gaming router I suggest giving this a go.

I ended up returning an ASUS router for this thing. I am so much happier. It actually stays connected and the speeds are better than anything else I’ve used before! I don’t believe I have any WiFi 7 devices at the moment but I do have a few WiFi 6E devices and it is quite fast connecting to the 6ghz with limited compatibility, I’m definitely impressed. Also over a wire I was nearly maxing out my 2.5 gig connection to the internet at about 2300mbps up and down. It’s honestly pretty dang cool. This router is definitely the way to go if you’ve got a fiber connection above 1gig. The mobile app makes it pretty easy to initially setup although it’s got limited options when it comes to settings. The web interface does open up several more options which is great. It is more limited in terms of options compared to the ASUS routers I’ve used over the past several years but this actually works so I’m not going to complain! Overall a solid router choice I personally find it to be worth the money and if you can pick it up on sale great!

Setup was easy.
Speeds are awesome.
It asked me to update its firmware so I did & the internet has been solid & stable.
No wifi buffering or lag spikes while hardwire gaming.
QOS is nice and just like ASUS QOS, being able to use either Ethernet or Fiber Optic Cable as a input for the internet future proofs your router.
My ISP’s top plan only allows for 2.5GBPS down & 100mbps up but I can notice the difference coming from a AX11000 Asus router that only handled 1GBPS input.
I’m using all Cat 8 ethernet cables so I’m good up to 40GBPS but I know that’s 5+ years away for my ISP.
NAT filtering is On & UPNP is on for the best connectivity to online games.
The server acceleration is done through a 3rd party program called WT Fast which is subscription based but I’ve had it before and I don’t think it’s necessary.
You don’t have to have it on if you don’t want to. It’s off by default.
Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and will recommend TP-Link for routers to my friends in the future.
This is coming from an ASUS fan boy.
All my pc hardware is Asus but TP-Link had the flexibility of having a Ethernet or Fiber Optic Cable as the internet line input so that was my deciding factor. Plus this TP-Link has 4 2.5gbps LAN ports & 1 10GBPS LAN port..
Net gears flagship router didn’t stand a chance compared to this the only one I considered was the Asus wifi 7 gaming flagship router but like I said. It wasn’t as flexible when it came to connections & overall ports.
